Today's menu because im bored like this.
Lunch: Discovered something good on our last grocery shopping: Nestle Yogurt Ice cream!
And not the gooey yogurt they previously have. You don't know how happy I am to discover this.

Dinner: i don't know if it's "recognizable" but that's banana-rice-chicken terriyaki
That's how measly my meals are. Not even 1/4 of rice. Im not losing weight, mind you.
I had to cook for the rest of the family, so there's liempo and the rest of the chicken for them.
:)

The pink sign was done out of boredom. Ive forgotten my japanese. Gomen~

And a flyer I did about a year ago. One of the rejected color scheme.
I still love maroons pinks and creams.
Oh. Do visit their store. Pretty good creampuffs Ive only tasted once.

Some clues to where I'm heading. Guess. guess! These are fairly easy i believe.
Except for the 5th one which is a pun!

About dreams. My brothers tell me I don't have focus at all. I venture into everything and never really into a straight path. I wanted to become a lawyer, a politician, a marine biologist, an archeologist and all those little children's dreams. And I say these with a past tense. Wanted. There comes a point in your life when you stop fantasies and do what is more likely. What is more easy. Because bodies do get tired of dreaming air. And maybe the thought that still remains is the right path to choose. Bakit nga ba natin kailangang pahirapan ang ating sarili?
When the easy option is right infront of you?

The importance of that experience is not what man learns from it,
but in that he experiences it.

i can do tacos.
i don't know about people but most of them think i can't prepare food. like come on.
i can cook pasta and tinola or whatever. still not a master chef tho hahaha.
and still no guts to chop meat. my heart's too fragile

and because i love my parents' cooking
i would rather have them be in charge of dinner, right? ;)

updates on my drugs: shifting HCQS to an american brand courtesy of my ninong (godfather). thank God we have lots of doctors in the family. HCQS is expensive here in the philippines!

i'll also be taking nexium for the next months. been having stomach pains
but im holding it off til the pain gets unbearable.
i think i have some pain sensitivity issue here. me being passive. hmm

Polillo island circa 2007
I was lucky enough to visit most of the barangays with a camera at hand.

this is Balesin island. i remember the white sand beach quite well. and the feel of the sand, smooth like powder. the locals are also welcoming to guests because they don't get visitors quite often.

at present, this specific island is being developed for commercial purposes. Heard it's harder to access now while plans are ongoing. also, there are no potable water last time we went so in case you want to go, bring your own gallon!

this one's another part of polillo, i can't remember where exactly.
fact #1: most seashores in polillo stretch for kilometers during lowtide (hibas)
fact #2: at the same time, when tides rise (taib), water is too near the land for some

bridge near languyin
fact #3: most areas are only accesible by motorcycles
fact #4: basically, four-wheeled vehicles can't cross from mainland to here.
wildlife is also abundant though illegal activities are still cumbersome
brgy. pinaglubayan hosts a number of philippine endemics
this is a tree frog. i have yet to see the butaan or gray's monitor lizard with my own eyes :)

some reminiscing jsyk. hahaha
what makes polillo appealing to me is that it isn't the luxury type destination
a true peace and quiet and just going back to your roots
(note the bias because this is my province! hahaha)

What did I get myself into? Was I even thinking properly that time?
Got trigger-happy and booked myself seven flights.
Now the problem: Didn't think about accomodation expenses and such. Hahaha. Well, how often do you get a zero peso flight promo and have the time to do it? Would you call this 'Divine Intervention' or pure whim? Didn't even think if my doctor would permit me to go to consecutive travels, and beaches at that! Let's see where this is going to lead me. If I break down, then at least, I was able to do the things I want instead of daydreaming til the day I die.

These thoughts have been keeping me awake for the last few nights. Hahaha.
Work can wait.

i 'traded' Malaya (Canon PSSX20 IS) for another camera.
And I named him Macaraig or Maka
He's a Canon Rebel xti/600D from abroad. Much thanks to my relatives for this!

Obligatory shots of my dogs.
Chowder is now more than a year old. This week, he was confined in the veterinary for neurological disorder. He's now under observation at home.

and Elizabeth. 1 yr. and 4mo.
Still energetic and uncontrollable as ever!

My luck has been favorable for the past few days (despite the dog problem earlier: Chowchow is back to normal atm). Aside from this unexpected gift, Im also booked for the rest of the year! I can smell adventure and I wouldn't trade this opportunity for anything. The prospect of my own business also sound plausible. Nothing big, but still better than being stuck at home unproductive. I'm happy for the future. Feel ko malakas ang signal ko kay God hahaha.

So much for karma
