Images from the opening of Project Bakawan's Off Site/ Out of Site. The area was a former stud farm that was converted into an exhibit/ recreational space. Different artists were given an area to work with. It is amazing to see how this place evolved into what it is now.

  1. Ms. Espiritu, thanks for visiting Off Site/Out Of Sight. Just in the interest of getting facts straight, the whole stud farm initiative is undertaken by the independent art platform Back to Square 1 (check on us via FB and backtosquarejuan.org). We agreed to launch this during the Bakawan festival but the whole idea of activating underused/misused spaces is something we've been incubating since 2005. Keep the sharing going and hope to have you over again as we launch phase 2 of Off Site/Out of Sight still at the stud farm. Bakawan Festival has ended for this year but we're still going so let us know when you're up for another visit (backtosquare1.2013@gmail.com) Eileen Legaspi-Ramirez, Co-curator of Off Site/Out of Sight, Back to Square 1 independent art platform
